In just four seasons, ACBC earned back-to-back promotions from Division 3 to the Premier Division of the Fraser Valley Soccer League (FVSL)—winning each division outright along the way. Our rapid success drew the attention of many talented players, leading us to form a reserve team, which followed the same trajectory and dominated its way up the ranks.

Over the years, we’ve proudly captured numerous titles, including:

• Multiple Division and League Cup championships

• The historic Pakenham Cup (the oldest soccer cup in North America)

• The Presidents Cup, Bradnar Cup, and Soccer City Cup

• Prestigious tournament victories such as the Kelowna Zodiac, Penticton Open, Kamloops Open, Squamish Open, Salt Spring Island Open, and Revelstoke Big Bear

• The Keith Miller Provincial Cup in 2010

At ACBC, our philosophy has always been a little unconventional—but effective. We believe in playing more games rather than focusing solely on practice. While we value training, we discovered that playing more frequently creates a fun, competitive atmosphere that naturally attracts great players. And it worked.

Our teams competed not only in the FVSL but also in the Knights League, the Iron Workers League, the PCSL, and the Van City League. Since most league play in Vancouver occurs in the winter, we doubled down by joining multiple leagues and playing two to three matches per week—swapping cold, rainy practices for meaningful, high-paced competition.

We also embraced indoor soccer, competing in the Canlan 8 Rinks Indoor League and eventually hosting our own arena tournaments. These successes led us to organize outdoor tournaments as well, further boosting our yearly match totals.

All this competitive play helped put our players on the radar, opening doors to college, university, and professional soccer opportunities.

As our original players aged out of the adult leagues, we began a new chapter—rebuilding ACBC from the ground up in the youth ranks, starting with our own sons. With the same passion and play-first mindset, our 2013 boys team has achieved the same kind of success as their fathers before them.

We’ve now returned to hosting both indoor and outdoor tournaments, and that’s why we built this website—to invite you into our world and share the beautiful game with as many teams as possible.
